The first photos and technical details of the new Volkswagen ID.Unyx 07 electric car have appeared online. The model will become the latest addition to the ID lineup and is set to debut soon on the Chinese market. For now, it’s presented in a single-motor configuration.
The vehicle is produced at the Volkswagen Anhui plant — a joint venture with JAC — which also manufactures the Cupra Tavascan for global markets.
In terms of silhouette, the ID.Unyx 07 resembles the FAW Volkswagen ID.7 Vizzion, considered the global version of the ID.7 liftback. However, the new model features its own body design, original styling, and slightly more compact dimensions: 4,853 mm in length, 1,852 mm in width, 1,566 mm in height, and a 2,826 mm wheelbase. For comparison, the Chinese ID.7 Vizzion is 10 cm longer and has a larger wheelbase.
According to certification documents, the ID.Unyx 07 is equipped with a single 231-horsepower motor, though Chinese media suggest that an all-wheel-drive version may follow later. Sales of the Volkswagen ID.Unyx 07 are expected to begin next year.
