Cherkasy Oblast traffic accident killed a civilian and two military personnel from a territorial recruitment center

On April 30, a road traffic accident occurred in Cherkasy Oblast, resulting in the deaths of a civilian and two servicemen from the Zvenyhorodka district Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TCC and SP).

The Cherkasy Regional TCC reported the incident on Facebook.

The accident took place near the village of Knyazha in Zvenyhorodka district.

A civilian and two TCC servicemen were killed. Another serviceman and a civilian were transported by ambulance to a medical facility with injuries of varying severity.

Law enforcement authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the crash.

According to the TCC, the deceased servicemen had previously served in combat units and took part in the defense of Ukraine in Kharkiv Oblast and Donetsk Oblast.

On April 30, in Rivne Oblast, police detained a 48-year-old serviceman suspected of shooting at TCC employees and a police officer.

In Bila Tserkva, a man threw a grenade toward an administrative building of the TCC and was subsequently detained by police.

Previously, in Kryvyi Rih, a conscript died inside a TCC facility; preliminary reports indicated heart failure as the cause of death.

In Kyiv, two TCC servicemen are facing trial over actions and negligence that allegedly led to the death of a mobilized individual during transport to the capital.
