Police security units, patrol officers, and an investigative task force immediately arrived at the scene.
On April 25, eyewitnesses contacted the police in Bucha after hearing gunshots on one of the city’s streets. Law enforcement officers established that a 42-year-old man, intoxicated, got out of a taxi and began firing randomly. According to the Police of Kyiv Oblast, there were no casualties.
It is noted that police security units, patrol officers, and an investigative task force promptly arrived at the scene. Officers from the security police were the first to respond and quickly detained the man. Law enforcement officers are currently working at the scene to determine all the circumstances of the incident.
Recently, in Kyiv, police detained a driver who fired several shots at a pedestrian during a road conflict. As a result of the incident, the man sustained gunshot wounds to his leg and back.
It was later established that a dispute arose between the driver and the pedestrian. According to preliminary information, the pedestrian was crossing the road in an unauthorized place, the driver made a remark, and a conflict ensued.
