Pure chocolate contains more beneficial nutrients such as antioxidants, flavonoids, magnesium, and iron. It also has less sugar and fewer artificial additives, making it healthier for overall well-being. Being less calorie-dense, pure chocolate is better suited for people who are monitoring their weight.

On the other hand, some people find this type of chocolate too bitter, especially if they are used to milk-based sweets. Another drawback is its less diverse flavor profile compared to chocolate enriched with nuts, fruits, berries, and other ingredients.

Speaking about the advantages of chocolate with additives, it is worth noting that some of them, particularly nuts and dried fruits, add extra vitamins and minerals.

However, chocolate with additives generally contains more sugar and calories, which can negatively affect body weight and blood glucose levels. In addition, additives often include artificial flavorings, colorings, and preservatives, which reduce the overall nutritional quality of the product.
