Ukraine has launched the “Winter Support” program, under which vulnerable groups can receive 6,500 UAH. The Ministry of Social Policy explained that the payment can be requested via the Diia app or at Pension Fund service centers.

In Diia, users must update the app, select “Services” → “Winter Support” → 6,500 UAH, confirm they have a Diia.Card, and submit the application. Offline, citizens can file a written request at a Pension Fund service center, where staff can also help open a special account.

The payment is available for children from low-income families or IDPs, children under guardianship, children with disabilities in foster families and family-type homes, persons with disabilities (Group I) who are IDPs, and single pensioners with pensions below 9,444 UAH. The funds may be used within six months for warm clothing, medicines, and vitamins.
