Over 1,200 bomb threats reported across Ukraine in under four hours — all false
National Police of Ukraine reported that between 11:00 and 14:50 on March 30, a total of 1,216 bomb threat messages were received by institutions across the country.
According to authorities, about 20% of the reports have already been checked, and none were confirmed. All examined alerts turned out to be false.
The messages targeted a wide range of locations, including government bodies, local authorities, educational institutions, businesses, banks, and other organizations.
Explosive ordnance teams, K9 units, and investigative task forces are working on-site to inspect the reported locations and ensure public safety.
Police are currently taking steps to identify those responsible for spreading the false information and noted that it could be part of an information-psychological operation (IPSO).
Authorities also reminded that knowingly making false bomb threats is a criminal offense under Ukrainian law, punishable by up to six years in prison.
Citizens are urged to remain calm, rely only on official information sources, and follow instructions from law enforcement.
