Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk has advanced to the fourth round of Wimbledon 2026, achieving her best-ever result at the grass-court Grand Slam.
The world No. 13 defeated American Emma Navarro (WTA No. 26) in three sets, 6-2, 4-6, 6-1, to book her place in the next stage of the tournament.
The victory marked Kostyuk’s first win in five career meetings with Navarro. It also extended the Ukrainian’s winning streak against American opponents to nine consecutive matches.
Kostyuk became the fourth Ukrainian to reach the fourth round at this year’s Wimbledon, joining Elina Svitolina, Dayana Yastremska, and Lesia Tsurenko.
In the round of 16, the 24-year-old will face another American, Ashlyn Krueger, who defeated Ukraine’s Daria Snigur 6-3, 6-2.
Wimbledon, held in London, is one of tennis’ four Grand Slam tournaments and is played on grass courts.
Earlier this season, Kostyuk also earned a career-best payday after reaching the French Open 2026 semifinals.
