In the new timetable, Ukrzaliznytsia will change the arrival time of several trains to Poland so that passengers can conveniently transfer to trains bound for Germany.

Thanks to this, travelling between Ukrainian cities and Germany will require only one transfer, the railway company’s press service reported.

Ukrzaliznytsia explained the importance of these changes by noting that Germany has already surpassed Poland in the number of Ukrainian refugees it has taken in. In addition, starting from December 2025, cross-border connections between Germany and Poland will increase by 54% — instead of 11 direct trains, 17 will operate — making it easier to synchronize Ukrainian services with trains to Germany.

In particular, the new timetable provides convenient transfers to Germany-bound trains in Przemyśl:

Train No. 51K Kyiv – Przemyśl will arrive at 05:00, allowing a transfer to EC134 Via Regia Przemyśl – Leipzig (departure at 07:12);

Train No. 63/64 Kharkiv – Przemyśl will arrive at 16:59, with a transfer to EN417 Carpatia Przemyśl – Prague – Munich (departure at 17:51), which offers a direct route to the Bavarian capital via Prague;

Train No. 31/32 Zaporizhzhia – Przemyśl will arrive at 08:18. Passengers will have nearly an hour to transfer to EC58 Galicja Przemyśl – Berlin (departure at 09:09), one of the most popular routes to the German capital.

“All transfers are coordinated in both directions, so the journey home will be just as convenient as travel abroad,” the statement from Ukrzaliznytsia promises.
