Following Russian strikes on energy infrastructure, the most severe electricity situation in Ukraine is in Dnipropetrovsk region, where more than 60,000 consumers remain without power, Ukrenergo reported on Telegram on Monday.

The state operator said that overnight drone attacks targeted energy facilities in several regions. Around 10,000 customers were also left without electricity in Kharkiv region. Emergency repair work is ongoing wherever safety conditions allow.

Due to previous large-scale missile and drone attacks, electricity consumption restrictions are being applied across all regions, with measures ranging from 0.5 to 3 rolling outages. Industrial consumers are also subject to maximum power limits.

Ukrenergo noted that electricity consumption is rising again. As of 09:30 on 24 November, demand was 13.3% higher than the same time on the previous working day, driven by reduced consumption restrictions compared with the end of last week. Daily peak consumption on 23 November was 1.5% higher than the previous Sunday, 16 November, due to falling temperatures in most regions.

Severe weather also caused partial or complete power outages in 45 settlements in Lviv region. Local utility crews are conducting emergency repairs, with full restoration expected by the end of the day.

Authorities reiterated that electricity consumption restrictions remain in place nationwide following sustained Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.
