Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday that Russian forces carried out a strike on the Sloviansk thermal power plant, killing two people.
"Just a few hours ago, Russian bombs hit the Sloviansk TPP. Unfortunately, two people were killed. My condolences. There are also injured. This is pure terror. No normal army fights like this, and such Russian aggression must receive a proper global response," Zelensky said in his evening address.
He added that today Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko is holding meetings with G7 representatives and energy ministers.
"These are countries that can and will support Ukraine. We are ensuring steady cooperation with them," the president noted.
