A deficiency of even a single food item in a woman’s diet can contribute to premature aging and early loss of youthful appearance — and in this case, it’s red meat.
Endocrinologist Zukhra Pavlova explained that avoiding meat or having too little of it in the diet can speed up aging in women, leading to early signs of skin deterioration and wrinkles. “Even giving up animal protein alone is enough to make the skin lose its healthy look,” she said, advocating for moderate consumption of meat.
Pavlova shared a case of a patient who sought medical help due to unusually early skin aging and excessive wrinkles. Upon investigation, doctors found that the woman’s diet was severely lacking in animal protein — she had been following a vegetarian diet and had not eaten meat for a long time.
The expert also emphasized that to prevent premature aging, women should stay physically active and maintain healthy daily rhythms.
