Both Yermak and Umerov appear on recordings made as part of the "Midas" operation.
After searches at Andriy Yermak’s residence and his dismissal as head of the Office of the President, President Volodymyr Zelensky reshuffled Ukraine’s negotiation team. According to the new decree, the delegation is now led by NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov.
Other members of the delegation include:
- Oleksandr Bevz – advisor to the head of the Office of the President
- Kyrylo Budanov – head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense
- Andriy Hnatov – Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
- Oleh Ivashchenko – head of the Foreign Intelligence Service
- Serhiy Kyslytsia – First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Yevhen Ostriansky – First Deputy Secretary of the NSDC
- Oleksandr Poklad – Deputy Head of the SBU
- Vadym Skibitsky – Deputy Head of GUR
According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Andriy Yermak appears on NABU recordings related to the "Mindichgate" under the alias “Ali Baba.” He reportedly participated in meetings connected to a corruption scheme at Energoatom and gave instructions on how to pressure NABU and SAP. Umerov also appears on the recordings and, according to SAP, was influenced by the president’s friend and scheme organizer, Timur Mindich.
On November 28, NABU and SAP conducted searches at Yermak’s parents’ apartment, where he lives. A few hours later, he resigned. According to ZN.UA, a suspicion is being prepared against Yermak related to his interest in a property in the “Dynasty” cooperative, and Zelensky is aware of this. He is also aware that a suspicion may be issued against Umerov. Both were included in the negotiation team after the heads of the anti-corruption agencies informed the president about these potential charges.
