Discord reported a security incident in which an unauthorized party accessed data from a third-party support provider. The breach affected a small number of users who contacted Discord support, exposing names, usernames, email addresses, last four digits of credit cards, and some scanned ID documents. Full credit card numbers and passwords were not compromised. Discord is notifying affected users and has restricted the provider’s access, informed data authorities, and is cooperating with law enforcement.
