Following the success of the Galaxy Buds 3, released in July last year, Samsung is preparing the next generation of wireless earbuds — Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. Preliminary reports suggest the company may unveil them alongside the Galaxy S26 flagship series in 2026.
A recent One UI 8.5 firmware leak revealed the first images of the earbuds. According to Android Authority, the system code includes an icon of the new device, showcasing the updated design of the Buds 4.
Smoother edges and new design details
Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy Buds 4 feature a less triangular shape. They retain a stemmed design but with more rounded or even flatter contours, giving the earbuds a sleeker and more elegant appearance.
The leak also indicates that the earbuds will come with in-ear tips for improved noise isolation and greater comfort during extended use.
