Ukrainians can receive financial assistance under the “Winter Support” program. The payment mechanism has already been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko explained how to apply, according to the Government Portal.

Svyrydenko emphasized that the key feature of the “Winter Support” program is a one-time payment of 1,000 UAH for every citizen currently in Ukraine.

“From this Saturday, November 15, until December 24, 2025, every Ukrainian will be able to submit an application. The assistance can be applied for both yourself and your child,” she said.

There are two ways to apply for the payment:

Through the “Diia” app – Once the application is processed, the funds will be credited to the National Cashback card. The money can be used for utility bills, medicines, Ukrainian-made products, postal services, books, charity, and donations to the Armed Forces.

At a “Ukrposhta” branch – The payment will be deposited into a special account. Funds can be spent on Ukrainian-made goods at Ukrposhta branches, utility payments, and donations.

Ukrainians can use the funds under the “Winter Support” program until June 30, 2026.
