President Zelensky announced that the official start of the heating season in Ukraine is set for October 28

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the official start of the heating season is set for October 28, although in some communities, heating has already begun in social facilities.

“Heating in social institutions has already started in certain communities, but officially it should begin on the 28th,” he said during a meeting with journalists.

Zelensky noted that the most challenging energy situation is in Shostka, Sumy region.

Additionally, he stated that Ukraine has secured around 70% of the funds needed for gas imports.
