Ukrainian pensioners and recipients of social insurance payments who reside abroad or in temporarily occupied territories must undergo identity verification each year by December 31, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has announced.

Verification can be completed online through a video call with representatives of the Pension Fund.

To continue receiving payments, pensioners and insurance beneficiaries temporarily living outside Ukraine or in occupied areas are required to complete physical identification annually by December 31. This can be done via videoconference with Pension Fund officials.

To verify their identity online, users should access the Electronic Services Portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine and fill out the online form under the section “Application for Identification via Videoconference.”

Recipients living in temporarily occupied territories can also use this online service, the Fund added.
