Ukraine extends martial law for 90 more days
On Wednesday, January 14, the Ukrainian parliament approved a 90-day extension of martial law, lawmaker Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported.
The new period of martial law will run from February 3 to May 4, 2026. The extension was supported by 333 deputies. The document will now be signed by Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk and President Volodymyr Zelensky.
This marks the 18th time the parliament has extended martial law in Ukraine.
