Tyson Fury Announces Return to Boxing.
Former world champion Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) has announced on his social media that he is coming out of retirement and returning to the ring.
“2026 is the year of my comeback. I’ve been away for a while, but it’s time to return. I’m 37 and still ready to fight. There’s nothing better than hitting men in the face and getting paid for it,” Fury wrote on Instagram.
In 2024, Fury lost twice to Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk by decision, leaving him without any world titles. Their matchups were among the most high-profile heavyweight fights in decades. Following these defeats, Fury initially announced his retirement.
Known as the “Gypsy King,” Fury has repeatedly expressed a desire to return to the ring, and media reports suggest he may face Anthony Joshua in a potential comeback fight.
