Winter Olympics 2026 conclude: final medal table and Ukrainian results

The XXV Winter Olympic Games (Milan–Cortina 2026) wrapped up on February 22 with the final competitions. Five events concluded on the last day: cross-country skiing, bobsleigh, curling, ice hockey, and freestyle skiing. Norway had already secured the overall medal lead, claiming 18 golds, making them unbeatable in the standings.

Germany dominated bobsleigh, winning eight medals, including gold and silver in the men’s four-man event. Sweden also finished strong, adding two golds: Ebba Andersson in the women’s mass start cross-country race and the women’s curling team defeating Switzerland. The U.S. men’s ice hockey team defeated Canada in overtime to earn their 12th gold of the Games.

Ukraine finished the Games without medals, marking the third time in history this has happened (previously in 2002 and 2010). Their best finishes were sixth place in team freestyle skiing and the luge relay, while the top individual result was 10th place.
