On Tuesday, February 10, Donetsk’s Shakhtar faced LNZ in Turkey during their winter training camp.
The teams delivered a hard-fought and emotional friendly with plenty of duels but few clear scoring chances. The match was decided by a single goal from LNZ’s Oleg Horin, who scored early in the second half.

After the first half of the season, Shakhtar shares the top spot in the UPL with LNZ and has also reached the Round of 16 in the Conference League. Their first official match of 2026 will be on February 22 against Karpaty.
LNZ will kick off the second half of the UPL season on February 21 with an away game against Epicenter.
Notably, in the first-round UPL clash, LNZ crushed Shakhtar’s opponents in Lviv 4–1.
