On Thursday, November 20, the draw for the European play-offs for the 2026 World Cup will take place, where the Ukrainian national team will learn its potential opponents.

Where and when to watch the draw
In Ukraine, the draw will be broadcast live on the MEGOGO media service. A paid subscription including the "Football 1" channel is required.

The ceremony will be held at FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, starting at 14:00 Kyiv time. Ukraine, finishing the qualifiers in the top pot, could face a team from the fourth pot in the semi-final—Sweden, Romania, Northern Ireland, or North Macedonia.

The European play-offs will feature 12 second-placed teams from qualifiers and 4 Nations League group winners. Teams will be divided into 4 paths, each playing a semi-final and final. Winners of each path will secure a spot at the 2026 World Cup. Matches are scheduled for March 26 and 31, 2026.

The 2026 World Cup will take place in the USA, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
