Israel reports death of Hezbollah chief of staff in Beirut strike – Reuters

According to Israeli media, Hezbollah chief of staff Ali Tabtabai was killed on Sunday in an Israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburb, Reuters reports. Several Israeli outlets confirmed the information, citing official sources.

The strike is part of ongoing Israeli operations against Hezbollah, which Israel considers a threat along its northern borders. On Sunday, November 23, Israel carried out its first strike on Lebanon’s capital since the summer, targeting the Hezbollah chief of staff.
