Investigative journalists from the project Schemes (Radio Liberty) report that Boris Yermak, father of Andriy Yermak, traveled to Russia at the end of 2019.

According to the report, on November 2, 2019, he flew from Belarus to Saint Petersburg on a Belavia flight, and returned on November 6. The publication also notes that his wife, who was born in Saint Petersburg, accompanied him on the trip and reportedly visited Russia multiple times in 2018–2019 via the same route.

At that time, Andriy Yermak had already joined the team of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, initially as an assistant and key figure in foreign policy communications during the presidential campaign period.

The report also states that Boris Yermak is mentioned in a broader investigative case concerning alleged money laundering tied to a construction project involving approximately 460 million UAH. However, no formal charges have been brought against him.

Andriy Yermak has denied involvement in the construction scheme, and his legal representatives have not provided detailed responses to journalists’ questions regarding the reported trips or alleged business ties.
