According to him, China is “very happy” about it.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he is “opening the Strait of Hormuz forever,” adding that China is “very pleased” with this decision. He stated that he is doing it for Beijing, as well as “for the whole world.”

“This situation will never happen again. They [the Chinese] agreed not to supply weapons to Iran. President Xi will give me a very, very big hug when I go there [to China] in a few weeks,” Trump wrote.

Trump added that the United States and China are working together “wisely and very well.” However, he warned that the U.S. is better at warfare than anyone else.

“BUT REMEMBER, we are very good at war if it comes to that — much better than anyone else!!!” Trump said.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that more than 20 commercial vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours. U.S. officials noted that although traffic remains significantly lower than before the war, the increase in the number of ships indicates a gradual recovery on this key route.
