FIFA has appointed Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) president Andriy Shevchenko and UAF Referees Committee head Kateryna Monzul to its standing committees, the UAF reports.
The decision follows a FIFA statute amendment approved at the organization’s 74th Congress, aimed at restructuring standing committees to increase member association participation in decision-making and to involve more women.
Under this process, FIFA’s Council has appointed committee heads, deputies, and members for a four-year term (2025–2029). Shevchenko will serve as chair of FIFA’s Future of Football Committee, while Monzul joins the FIFA Stakeholders Committee on Women’s Football.
