The American club hinted at the extension in a video posted on their official X account.
Messi’s previous contract with Inter Miami was set to expire at the end of 2025, but according to reputable insiders, the new deal will run until December 2028.

The 38-year-old forward has played for the U.S. club since 2023, after joining from French side Paris Saint-Germain.
Messi’s most successful years were spent at Barcelona, where he became an eight-time Ballon d’Or winner and one of the greatest players in football history.
In the current MLS season, Messi has scored 29 goals in 28 matches, finishing as the league’s top scorer in the regular season.
