Ukrainian tennis star Elina Svitolina (WTA No. 13) has reached a historic milestone, starting her 600th week ranked among the world’s top 100 players.
The achievement was reported by Ukrainian Tennis.
Svitolina first broke into the WTA top 100 in February 2013 at the age of 18. Since then, she has only dropped out of the top 100 during her pregnancy in 2022. Out of those 600 weeks, she has spent 218 weeks in the top 10.
Her career-high ranking of world No. 3 in 2017 remains the best result in the history of both women’s and men’s tennis in Ukraine.
