Ukrainian forces strike Russian equipment and command centers, destroy Buk and Uragan systems
On the night of February 24, Ukrainian troops carried out a series of successful strikes against Russian military equipment and command centers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the 5th Russian Army’s auxiliary command post near Novopetrivka in temporarily occupied Donetsk, using ATACMS missiles. They also struck the “Rubikon” logistics center in temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia and ammunition depots in Priazovske and Oleksandrivka.
Additional strikes targeted a Russian repair base near Yakymivka and enemy troop concentrations in Katsiveli.
Key Russian equipment destroyed includes the Uragan multiple rocket launcher near Lyubymivka on February 24 and a Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system near Svobodne on February 23.
Other important targets hit by Ukrainian forces include a missile battalion, a drone command post, and multiple ammunition depots. Ukrainian troops also recently struck the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate arsenal in Kotluban, destroying stored missiles, ammunition, and explosives.
