Agents of ATESH partisan movement carried out sabotage on the railway in occupied Luhansk, which had been the only stable supply route for Russian forces to the frontlines.
According to Telegram, two relay cabinets in different parts of the city were disabled, causing a systemic failure in train traffic control.
“The strike targeted the main supply artery of the occupiers. This line connects Russia to Luhansk, passes through Debaltseve and Popasna, and extends to the Pokrovsk direction. It is effectively the only stable route for transporting troops, ammunition, fuel, and equipment from Russia to the front,” the group said. Following the sabotage, train movement stopped, schedules were disrupted, and Russian forces had to operate trains manually, drastically reducing throughput. Military convoys are now congested near the city and cannot advance.
As a result, fuel and ammunition deliveries to the Pokrovsk sector have been disrupted, and alternative routes are overloaded and unable to handle the volume. Previously, ATESH partisan movement regularly struck enemy targets, including communication systems and electronic warfare assets in Kherson region.
The group also targeted Russian railway logistics on the Kupiansk front, destroying a locomotive that supplied the occupiers near Kupiansk.
