On Sunday, March 1, Russian occupation forces shelled the Korabelnyi district of Kherson. Two elderly women were killed near the entrance of a multi-story building during the attack, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, via his Telegram channel.
Additionally, a 63-year-old man and an 85-year-old woman, who had sustained severe shrapnel wounds to the torso and head along with blast injuries, later died in hospital.
Earlier, Russian troops had also struck one of the buildings of Kherson State University, damaging the roof and breaking windows, though no casualties were reported.
