Three people were killed and three others injured after Russia struck Odesa on the morning of July 15, according to Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Serhii Lysak. Residential buildings were damaged in the attack.
"As of now, three people are confirmed dead as a result of the enemy attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones," Lysak said.
The three wounded were hospitalized in moderate condition.
The latest strike follows a series of Russian attacks on Odesa and the surrounding region. A day earlier, Russian forces hit a transport depot and attacked port infrastructure, killing three sailors aboard a merchant vessel unloading mineral fertilizers.
Later, Russian forces also struck a Kernel vegetable oil terminal in the Odesa region, severely damaging sunflower oil storage facilities and cargo-handling infrastructure. The agribusiness company's port assets had already sustained significant damage during Russian attacks on the nights of July 11 and 12.
