The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and foreign ministers of EU member states have arrived in Kyiv, where a ministerial meeting of the European Union is expected to take place today, according to Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry.

The delegation was welcomed at the Central Railway Station by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. He emphasized that the visit carries strong symbolic significance, coinciding with the anniversary of the Bucha massacre, and stressed the importance of accountability for Russian war crimes.

Kallas noted that the presence of European officials in Kyiv demonstrates solidarity with Ukraine and reaffirmed continued support — military, financial, energy, and humanitarian — as well as efforts to ensure accountability for crimes.

The visit highlights ongoing cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, with further discussions on security, support, and justice expected during the meeting.
