The Ukrainian government has approved another round of pension indexation, set to take effect on March 1, 2025. On average, pensions will rise by 11.5%, helping to offset inflation and support the most vulnerable groups.

  • Minimum increase: 100 hryvnias
  • Maximum increase: 1,500 hryvnias

Average pension after indexation: around 6,345 hryvnias (up from 5,789 hryvnias)

The recalculation will cover pensions under:

  • the general state pension system
  • civil service and scientific activity
  • military personnel
  • victims of the Chernobyl disaster

Additionally, minimum payments will be raised for combat veterans and individuals disabled due to the war.

According to the Pension Fund, the indexation will affect over 10 million citizens, and in April, pensions for working pensioners will be automatically recalculated.

The final amount of the indexation will be confirmed in February 2026, when updated statistical data becomes available.
