Russian forces struck nine locations across Ukraine following the so-called “Easter truce.”
On the night of Monday, April 13, immediately after the end of the declared ceasefire, Russia launched an ആക്രമ of 98 strike drones of various types, including around 65 Shahed drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Unfortunately, nine drones hit targets at nine separate locations.
As of 08:00, preliminary data indicates that Ukraine’s air defense systems shot down or suppressed 87 enemy drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types, primarily in the north and east of the country.
In addition to confirmed strikes, debris from downed drones was recorded falling at one more location. Meanwhile, some enemy drones were still detected in Ukrainian airspace.
The head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Andriy Raikovych, reported that the region came under attack again in the morning.
“A fire broke out at one of the facilities in the Kropyvnytskyi district. All necessary emergency units were involved in extinguishing it. The fire has now been fully put out,” he said, adding that there were no casualties.
Russian drones also targeted Zaporizhzhia in the morning. The head of the regional administration, Ivan Fedorov, said industrial infrastructure was hit. A fire broke out at the site, but no casualties were reported.
Air raid alerts were also issued in the Odesa and Poltava regions, though no incidents were reported there.
