During a complex operation in temporarily occupied Crimea, fighters of the SBU’s Alfa Special Operations Center attacked three Russian naval vessels, according to the Security Service of Ukraine.
The targets included two large landing ships of the Russian Navy — “Azov” and “Yamal” — as well as another warship of an unspecified type. The vessels “Yamal” and “Azov” had previously been attacked in March 2024.
The SBU also reported that a Project 21980 anti-sabotage boat “Grachonok” was likely damaged. In addition, SBU drones struck fuel storage tanks at the Yugtorsan oil depot and damaged key military equipment, including the MR-10M1 “Mis-M1” radar system and antenna units of the “Delfin” communications system.
The agency emphasized that such operations are aimed at disrupting Russian logistics on the peninsula and reducing Moscow’s ability to use Crimea as a military base.
Earlier in March, long-range SBU drones also targeted Russian warships and six oil-loading berths at the Sheskharis oil terminal.
