Russia launched 98 attack drones against Ukraine during the night of June 14, including Shahed UAVs, jet-powered variants, Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
The drones were launched from multiple locations, including Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as Chauda and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.
Ukraine’s air defense operation involved fighter aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 08:00 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or suppressed 91 enemy drones across northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
Despite the high interception rate, authorities confirmed seven drone strikes at six locations, while debris from downed drones fell at four separate sites.
The Air Force warned that the attack was still ongoing, with several hostile drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace, and urged citizens to continue following air raid alerts and safety instructions.
Continued attacks on Ukraine
Earlier on June 14, Russian forces also launched another attack on Mykolaiv, targeting two types of infrastructure facilities.
The previous night, June 13, Russia attacked Ukraine with 118 drones. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted most of them, although three direct impacts and debris incidents at six locations were recorded.
