On Tuesday, April 7, Russian occupying forces struck the city council building in the center of Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, with kamikaze drones, according to a correspondent from Suspilne Chernihiv.
A fire broke out inside the city council building. The number of injured is still being уточнено. Journalists reported that three explosions were heard in the city. The Ukrainian Air Force had earlier warned about the movement of kamikaze drones toward the Chernihiv region.
The head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi City Military Administration, Oleksandr Seliverstov, reported that a Russian drone hit the building of the state tax inspection in the center of Novhorod-Siverskyi. Passenger cars and building facades were also damaged.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, stated that there were injured people in both cities as a result of the drone attack.
The previous evening, Russian forces also attacked energy and transport infrastructure in the region. In the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Koriukivka districts, four strikes on energy facilities were recorded, leaving some consumers still without electricity.
