During the night of November 23 (starting at 19:00 on November 22), Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using 98 strike UAVs, including Shaheds, "Herbera" drones, and others, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Telegram.
The drones were launched from Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and from Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea. Around 60 of the drones were Shaheds.
Ukraine’s air defenses — including missile units, electronic warfare teams, drone units, and mobile fire groups — worked to repel the attack. As of 08:30, preliminary data shows 69 enemy drones were destroyed over the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
Twenty-seven strike UAVs hit 12 locations.
The attack is ongoing; several enemy drones remain in the sky. The Air Force urges citizens to follow all safety rules.
