In the night of April 10, Russia attacked Ukraine with 128 strike drones launched from five directions. Most of the enemy UAVs were shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.
According to the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from 18:00 on April 9 to the morning of April 10, Russian forces launched 128 strike drones of the Shahed, “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and other types from the directions of Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).
About 85 of the launched drones were Shahed-type UAVs.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As of 08:00, preliminary data indicates that 113 enemy drones of various types were shot down or suppressed in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits of 14 strike drones were recorded across 6 locations, along with debris from downed drones falling in 7 locations.
“The attack is ongoing; enemy drones remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules!” the Air Force warned.
Regarding the so-called “Easter ceasefire,” it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a temporary halt in combat operations from 16:00 on April 11 to the end of April 12, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine is ready to mirror any genuine ceasefire steps.
