This was reported by the head of the city’s Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
By the morning of January 14, electricity and heating were restored to Kryvyi Rih residents. The situation with power outages, water supply, boiler operations and public transport has been stabilized. A fire caused by the attack was also extinguished.
“Energy workers did almost the impossible. All consumers disconnected due to the emergency have been reconnected. Boiler houses have been restarted and are heating up. Municipal electric transport is operating normally, including the high-speed tram. Water supply is functioning,” Vilkul said.
Earlier, he reported massive drone strikes on infrastructure and urged residents to store water and charge devices. At one point, more than 45,000 consumers were left without power and over 700 buildings without heat. Emergency response headquarters is working in the city.
