Russian forces also struck Kryvyi Rih earlier in the day.
On Tuesday, April 14, Russian occupation troops carried out a missile strike on Dnipro. As a result of the attack, the death toll has risen to five, after a 40-year-old man died in hospital from his injuries, said Oleksandr Hancha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
According to him:
- 24 people were injured
- 21 were hospitalized
- nine are in critical condition
A fire broke out at the impact site. Emergency responders, law enforcement, and medics are working at the scene.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the victims were civilians traveling by car along a road in Dnipro. Passenger vehicles and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged.
Earlier in the morning, Russian forces also carried out two drone strikes using “Shahed” drones on another city in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The attack hit infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih.
