Russia launched a large-scale overnight attack on Ukraine using 166 aerial weapons, including 41 missiles and 125 drones, with Kyiv as the primary target, Ukraine's Air Force said.

According to the military, the barrage included 10 Zircon anti-ship missiles, 25 Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles, three Oniks anti-ship missiles, three Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles, and 125 Shahed attack drones, decoy drones and loitering munitions launched from Russia and Russian-occupied Crimea.

As of 8:30 a.m. local time, Ukrainian air defenses had intercepted or suppressed 126 targets, including 18 missiles and 108 drones. The Air Force said the intercepted missiles included 17 Iskander-M, Zircon and S-400 missiles, as well as one Kh-59/69 guided missile.

The attack was repelled by fighter aircraft, air defense missile units, electronic warfare systems, drone units and mobile fire groups. The Air Force warned that several Russian drones remained in Ukrainian airspace and urged residents to follow air raid safety guidance.
