According to the Regional Military Administration (OVA), Russian occupation forces, about half an hour ago on Tuesday, April 14, dropped six guided aerial bombs on the Pechenihy Dam in the Chuhuiv district of the Kharkiv region, said the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
He emphasized that the Pechenihy Reservoir is a critically important facility for Kharkiv and the region and one of the largest reservoirs in the Kharkiv region. In December last year, Russian forces also carried out a missile strike on the dam of the Pechenihy Reservoir.
Syniehubov reported that simultaneously with the attack on the dam, the occupiers also struck several districts of Kharkiv using Shahed and “Molniya” kamikaze drones. Emergency services and medics are currently working at the strike sites. In the Kyiv district, Russian forces damaged two private residential houses. Earlier, the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, reported injuries in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city.
