Russian forces struck civilian vessels: one person injured.
A tanker sailing under the flag of Panama was damaged after being hit by a Russian drone while it was waiting to enter port for loading oil. One crew member was injured, said Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration Oleksiy Kuleba.
“He is now receiving the necessary medical assistance. Maritime rescue services are already on site, and the fire on board is being extinguished,” he added.
Another vessel under the flag of San Marino, which was leaving the port carrying a load of corn, was also attacked. The ship continued its journey and no one was injured.
“Despite the constant terror from the aggressor, Ukraine continues port operations and fulfills its international obligations,” the Deputy Prime Minister stated.
