Security Service of Ukraine has urged Ukrainians to remain vigilant ahead of and during Easter holidays, warning about the risk of provocations and possible terrorist attacks.
In an official statement, the agency said that despite announcements about a so-called Easter ceasefire, Russian forces continue to conduct information and psychological operations, provocations, sabotage, and attempts to recruit agents in Ukraine.
According to the SBU, potential targets include crowded public places, regardless of their purpose or location. The agency also regularly detects attempts to recruit Ukrainians for terrorist activities or for directing strikes against civilian infrastructure.
The SBU advised citizens to be cautious at mass gatherings, avoid suspicious individuals or objects, report unusual activity to law enforcement, and follow air-raid alerts and curfews.
