On the night of Tuesday, January 13, Russia launched 18 missiles and 293 attack drones against Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, air defense units intercepted a total of 247 aerial targets.
The attack involved 18 Iskander-M ballistic and S-300 guided missiles, seven Iskander-K cruise missiles, and nearly 300 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of strike UAVs — around 200 of them Shaheds. Missiles were launched from Russia’s Kursk, Bryansk, and Voronezh regions, as well as occupied Crimea, while cruise missiles were fired from Kursk and Belgorod regions. Drones approached from several directions in Russia and Crimea.
Ballistic strikes targeted Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kyiv regions. As of 09:30, Ukrainian forces reported destroying or suppressing 247 targets: two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, five Iskander-K cruise missiles, and 240 drones across northern, southern, eastern, and central Ukraine.
