President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he had received reports from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov on the situation at the front and the progress of Ukrainian operations.
According to Zelenskyy, special attention was paid to the Oleksandrivka and Pokrovsk directions, where Russian forces are concentrating their main efforts, with Ukrainian troops actively countering them.
The president thanked Ukrainian units for “tangible results” in striking Russian forces. He also received a briefing on Ukrainian deep-strike operations and related priorities, noting that long-range strikes are already affecting Russian revenues, primarily from oil.
“This is being felt both in the north-eastern and south-eastern directions of active long-range operations,” he added.
Zelenskyy said that, together with the military leadership, further steps were approved. According to him, strong positions on the battlefield and in long-range capabilities should strengthen Ukraine’s diplomatic position and relations with partners.
“Ukraine defends itself and demonstrates the ability to enhance the security of others,” he concluded.
