President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine will soon hold meetings with a U.S. delegation and named the country’s new representatives for negotiations on the “peace plan” after the resignation of Presidential Office head Andriy Yermak.
The delegation will include the Chief of the General Staff, representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the NSDC Secretary, and intelligence officials, Zelensky stated in his evening address. He stressed that, amid the ongoing war, all efforts must remain fully focused on defending Ukraine.
Earlier on November 28, NABU and SAPO conducted searches related to Yermak. According to media reports, anti-corruption investigators may be preparing charges linked to a real estate case.
Despite this, Zelensky had previously appointed Yermak to the negotiating team. Reports also suggest that NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov may face similar scrutiny.
