The number of injured following Russia’s massive overnight missile and drone attack on Kyiv has risen to 77, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Authorities said 31 people are currently hospitalized, including three in serious condition. Another 46 injured victims received medical assistance on site. Two women were killed in the attack.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) reported that rescue operations are still ongoing, as people may remain under rubble in the Darnytskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts. Emergency crews continue search and rescue efforts in heavily damaged residential areas.
Officials also confirmed damage to key cultural and government infrastructure in the capital, including the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the National Art Museum of Ukraine.
Ukrainian Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna said the attack represents the most extensive strike on cultural institutions in Kyiv since the beginning of the full-scale war, calling the damage unprecedented in scale.
